Hello, and Welcome to Marilyn’s Gallery.
I am 61 years old, and I’ve been married to my best friend for 42 years.
We have 4 children, and 10 grandchildren and live in the village of Baie Ste Anne, NB.
Two years ago my husband, Vic, signed me up for ‘art lessons’ with a wonderful artist, Isabel Jenkins, knowing it was my life long interest to learn to paint.
With these lessons, lots of encouragement from family and friends, and watching Jerry Yarnell on TV, I’m realising my dream.
In these past two years, I’ve been able to share my gift with family, friends, and new friends I’ve made across Canada and the United States.
I’ve been fortunate enough to be featured as artist of the month at a wonderful art store in our capital city called Endeavors.
My paintings were on display for 2 weeks at the Miramichi library, with offers from other cities to do the same.
Recently, I was asked to display them at the Napan Agriculture Fair, where I made a lot of contacts, had the opportunity to meet other local artists, and a few from afar.
